H.E. MR. LEONARDO SANTOS SIMAO, SPECIAL ENVOY OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOZAMBIQUE PAID A COURTSY CALL ON THE PERMANENT RESPRESENATIVE OF UGANDA TO THE UNITED NATIONS.

The meeting was attended by H.E. Mr. Leonardo Santos Simão, Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Mozambique for the candidature of the Republic of Mozambique for a non-permanent seat of the United Nations Security Council, term 2023-2024, he was accompanied by Mr. Nuno Tomas, Assistant to the Special Envoy. Amb. Adonia Ayebare, Uganda's Permanent Representative assured the special envoy of the Support of Uganda to the election of Mozambique to the Non-Permanent Seat of the Security Council based on the good bilateral relations between Uganda and Mozambique.
